Weekly reporting used to be the biggest single line on our leak table: 12 hours a week, every week, stitching Meta, Google, TikTok and GA4 numbers into slides for each client.
The replacement is a 7-node n8n workflow. A schedule trigger pulls ad platform data on Monday morning, a function node normalizes spend and revenue, a branch decides whether anything needs human eyes, and the results land in Sheets, Slack and Notion at the same time. The slide deck stopped being a document we build and became a view that builds itself.
Two things matter in practice. First, sample data stays pinned in the workflow, so every run is testable before it touches a live client account. Second, review never fully goes away, and shouldn't: the workflow does the stitching, a person still spends 40 minutes checking the output before it reaches the client.
Before: 12 hrs/wk. After: 40 min. The workflow ships with our audit as an importable JSON file plus a setup guide.
